When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, Jesus responded with a model prayer to give us guidance on how to pray. You can read the prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.
Today, I want you to think about Jesus’ prayer instructions as “God’s Prayer Requests”. I only use the word “request” because it’s so relatable to our terminology, but they are actually instructions. That said, let us learn today to cover “God’s Prayer Requests” when we pray!
After all, God’s Will is paramount to our existence as Christians. If we can’t pray for what God asked us to pray for, then we need not pray at all. But what a site it is that God would deem it necessary for us to engage in prayer so that His will be performed in the Earth.
Having said that, NEVER underestimate the necessity for prayer, for even God Himself requires its application as a prerequisite to His Kingdom and Will being manifest and performed in the Earth.
What a thought!
